Egyptian Motif Cuff

This design was taken from a head-band on a painted Egyptian statue of Nofret, Mid-4th Dynasty, Old Kingdom (c. 2610 BC). The cuff is made using a heavy Sterling Silver cutout and backplate overlain with a brass flower and bronze leaves. It is 3/4" wide and medium sized. The combination of bronze, brass and silver increases the contrast and provides a "gold" accent to the piece. This is a heavy cuff using 18g silver for the cutout and 16g for the backplate with 20g bronze and brass applique.
